Why new employee always need to do monthly before start bi-monthly?

Salary is typically paid on a regular basis, and the most common frequency for salary payments is monthly. Many employees receive a fixed amount of money every month as compensation for their work. However, the specific amount and payment schedule can vary depending on the employer, the terms of the employment contract, and the country's labor laws.

A bi-monthly salary, also known as a semi-monthly salary, is a type of payment schedule in which an employee is paid twice a month. Typically, this means that you receive your salary on two specific dates each month. The specific dates can vary depending on your employer's payroll policies, but common schedules include being paid on the 15th and the last day of the month or on the 1st and 15th of the month.
If the date of joining is 16 or onwards (Employee join in second half of the month)  then it has only to be monthly because the system is not cater to process without first half.
Kindly check the payroll type before process the payroll.
