What is the difference between variable and general addition?
What is variable? Variable Pay is basically employee compensation that changes on on certain factors or performance metrics. It is usually offered in addition to the employee's fixed salary and comes in various forms. In people central ,The Workers who perform shifts during more desirable hours (e.g., night shifts or weekends) may receive extra pay as a variable addition.
Addition type - There are 4 variable in the system in built. so those Variables are not able to delete or should not be deleted. Those variables can be use or keep it as it is if they are not usable in particular company. It can be renamed as per the organization's needs under Additions Types where as General Additions like Allowance, Claim and Timesheet Allowance refer to the pay types available for employees.
An "additional allowance" typically refers to an extra amount of money or financial benefit provided to an individual or group in addition to their regular income or base allowances. These additional allowances can serve various purposes and may be granted for different reasons.
Note: Once Addition type is used in the payroll, it cannot be deleted.
