How to modify the overtime rate of the employee

How to modify the overtime rate of the employee



To modify the overtime for an active employee follow these steps:









Step 01: Go to the “Employees” under the “Employee” module.
Step 02: Click the particular "Employee Name" and go to the “Progression Info” Tab.
Step 03:  In “PAY HISTORY INFORMATION”, enter the overtime rate as shown in the Screen.
                  

                                

Step 04: And click the "UPDATE PAY RECORD" button to update the changes. Generally, the system takes the input as OT1 (Overtime 1) rate is 1.5 times the normal hourly rate and OT2 (Overtime 2) rate is 2 times the normal hourly rate based on MOM advisory. The user can change these rates according to them.

For Example:

If the employee normal hourly rate is 10$ then the OT1= 15$ (10$x1.5=15)and the OT2 rate = 20$ (10$x2=20).
