How to apply a new Leave Request?

How to apply a new Leave Request?



Users can add a new leave request by following the given steps:

Step 01: Go to the “Leave” module, then select the “Request” from the drop-down list.




Step 02: The system will prompt to the given page. Fill in all the fields as mentioned below:

Name of the Employee

 Apply Leave Type

Select here leave type

 Leave From 

Date of applied leave From

5. 

 Leave To

Date of applied leave To

6. 

 Apply Half day leave  

Select half day for 1 day

7.

 Apply Leave On 

Leave application date

8.

 Upload document

Upload leave document here

9. 

 Remarks

Add remarks related to leave if any. 


Note: If leave is applied for one-half day then enable the "Apply half day leave" button. But if there is more than one-half day then click the "Multi Half day selection" and the grid appears where you can select the session, AM for the morning session, or PM for the afternoon session.

Step 03: Before submitting the leave the system asks the confirmation. Click the "SUBMIT" button. A successful alert appears and an email will be sent to the respective supervisor for approval.


                 
                                                                        


Once the leave is submitted “Successful Alert” appears.



Step 04: On the apply leave page, there is info tab, the user can view the following details in this:

Leave supervisor’s name

Joining Date

Employee’s Joining Date

Employee Group

Employee’s Employee Group

4.

Confirmation Date  

Employee’s Confirmation Date

5.

Leave Model 

Employee’s Confirmation Date

6.

Work Days in the week     

Number of working days pattern for the employee



Step 05: Under Leave entitlement Information the user can able to view the following details in this:


1. 

Leave Type 

Name of the leave {Annual, Sick, Child care, etc} 

2.

 CYL 

Current Year leaves allowed

3. 

 LYCF 

Last Year leaves carry forward 

4.

 CYLE

Total leaves earned as of the “Apply leaves on” date {Current year earned leaves + last year leaves carry forward}

5. 

 Paid Leaves

Paid leaves taken

6. 

 Unpaid  leaves

Unpaid leaves taken

7.

Pending       Leaves                        

Pending paid leaves {Waiting at the approval stage}

8. 

Leaves Taken 

Total paid and Pending leaves

9. 


Balance  Leaves      

CYLE – leaves taken


HR, Super Admin, or any other user group with appropriate rights can also apply for leave on behalf of the employee.
